If Serving Over Sweet Potatoes
*If serving over sweet potatoes, wash, poke holes all over, and microwave 4 sweet potatoes for about ten to fifteen minutes or just until they are soft. Finish by roasting on the grill for some delicious charred flavor. Sprinkle with salt (optional).
Wash grapes and pat dry.
Remove most of the grapes from the stems, reserving four small bundles on the stems for garnish.
Add grapes and a drizzle of oil to a small cast-iron pan and place on the preheated grill. Close the lid and roast them until the grapes produce a sauce, about 15 minutes. To thicken the sauce, turn the heat up to about 450℉ and simmer a few more minutes, or until the sauce reduces.
Add a sprinkle of salt and cinnnamon if desired. Use caution, the grapes and sauce will be scalding hot!
Allow the roasted grapes to cool for several minutes before serving.
